I was excited about this place. However, 200 clams for four people doesn't quite cut it or me.

They have an excellent selection of wines and they have a lot of items that vegetarians will definitely appreaciate. I have been here multiple times and have yet to be disappointed.

The stand out thing about my Tucci experience was the waitstaff. Our waiter was the perfect combination of attentive but not obtrusive, totally casual and friendly. The food was great, I had a pasta and my friend had a pizza. Both were excellent. I liked the combo of casual but fine dining. Recommend.

One of Portland's absolute premiere Italian restaurants! We are very thankful it is in Lake O. The staff are amazing and knowledgable and the menu is thoughtful and inspiring. Everyone truly cares about the service and taste and everything is made to order so if you have a special dietary need they can and happily will accommodate it. Good for gluten free options too- all their pasta can be made with gluten free noodles.

Wonderful Italian cuisine in LO. Service is always spot on. I'm vegan and for what it's worth - they do have many options. Love the pasta! Ambiance is terrific - romantic but also great for friends and family. Strong wine list. But the food and service are among the best I've experienced in LO - not going back to Manzana or Five Spice!

Amazing food, amazing service, amazing bartender (Michael)! All questions were answered and all food was explained. I am very happy and will be coming back!!

The food did not have any flavor and on top of it you didn't hardly get any food at all. The prices were really high and I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

We stopped by for dessert after dinner a few blocks away. This turned out to be an excellent choice. I absolutely can back this as a romantic dessert place. My fiance got a Affogato al Caffe and a port. The affogato was outstanding, which implies to me that both their espresso and gellato are excellent. I got a dessert that had a couple things on it, some filo purses with nuts and fig that were pretty tasty, some almond florentine (brittle) that was AMAZING... I would have eaten a plate of just that, and a panna cotta that I turned out to not like. I love panna cotta so that was disappointing. After a chat with the bar tender (we ate at the bar) we decided that the goat cheese added to it, which I should have loved, changed the texture so it didn't feel like panna cotta and put me off. He said it was tasty if I'd give it a chance, but I couldn't get past the not panna cotta texture. We were thrilled with the whole experience though. I'm not complaining. I would love to go back for dinner. Also, interior is lovely and beautiful low lighting.

Tucci is another example of what is lacking in the restaurant options in Lake Oswego. The place is packed despite mediocre pedestrian food. I sent back a pasta dish that was inedible - so much garlic that it was all I could taste. The pizza that I ordered as a replacement for the pasta was limp and soggy. Ugh. So sad. I don't get it. I live in this neighborhood and I won't go back.

I came here with my boss and client for dinner. We were seated right away and the server was nice. We ordered: Calamari Cabbage wrapped lamb Linguine and clams The fish of the day - seared halibut Chocolate polenta cake All the dishes were good - all were very tasty. My favorite was the linguine and clams (how could you go wrong) and the cake polenta which was like a lava cake and the dough was very moist. The service was okay- she forgot our coffee, and items we asked for like red peppers and cheese. Food I give a 4 stars and service a 3.

Tucci serves poor quality food that is badly prepared, indifferently served, and is very, very expensive for what it is. The ambiance is dull and brown. Tables near the kitchen are very noisy. If you want Italian, save yourself the aggravation and head to the Olive Garden. You'll get the better food for a lot less money.

Excellent! 1st time here and dinner was amazing. We had the calamari appetizer, it was good, nothing special but good. We ordered wine, our first choice was not available but our 2nd choice was and it was excellent. Thank you Jennifer for the wine referral and your excellent service! I had the grilled tuna and my date had the cioppino, both were very good. The scallop in the stew was the best I've ever had. It melted in your mouth like butter. Dessert was also very good. The polenta chocolate cake was a surprise of goodness. The lemon cheesecake was refreshing. We split a lemoncello because they make their own and it was very good as well. The entire experience was very nice and we will go again.

We chose Tucci for our valentine's day dinner simply because we could get a reservation at the last minute. The reviews seemed to be pretty good, so we were cautiously optimistic about our dinner to come. The ambiance and and staff were very nice, the music was also lovely. As we looked over the menu, however, we were a little shocked by the prices. Spaghetti with tomato sauce for $20? We foolishly thought this must mean that the food would be amazing. We started with a cheese plate - which consisted of an enormous ball of goat cheese and a smear or apple butter and truffle honey. No crackers, no crostini. While the honey was delicious, this dish just didn't work. Our second course was a citrus salad that was actually very tasty. For our main course I had the seafood risotto and my husband the veal. The seafood in my risotto was dreadfully over cooked and the risotto was anything but creamy. My husbands veal lacked flavor and was overcooked. At this point we were pretty upset with ourselves for eating here. We were easily out $150 for the food and wine, which would have been fine if the food had been good. Instead, it was as mediocre as Olive Garden. Needless to say, we will not be returning.

I came here with 2 other friends, one of them is an Italian guy visiting Portland. And me and my friend have been to Italy and experienced Italian real cuisine first hand. My friends had heard a lot of good things about this restaurant, from what they heard, this is supposed to be an Italian restaurant which serves authentic Italian food. We wanted to try their pizza to start. After we placed the order, it took for ever, I am not exaggerating when I say about a hour, before we could get our food. The crust was burnt, and there was barely any topping, no mozzarella cheese, no tomato, just some condensed tomato paste ,it was like eating a piece of old dry bread. Beside that, there was lots of oregano in tomato paste they had put on top, and it should be basil, in Italy they only use basil on a pizza. When asking the waitress told us they use canola oil on the pizza, rather than olive oil. We did not eat the rest of the pizza, we ordered an hamburger, it was burnt, and it tasted nothing.

I would have given Tucci's more stars for food and ambience. But let me tell you I was worked over by the main Friday bartender. I had a first date in along time ( he knew it) she asked for a glass of house white and I said same... He brought us a $12 glass each. I didn't know it was a expensive glass until bill came. OK no problem it's just a quick glass together we both had other plans with kids and such. This bartender came over 3 times and asked if we would like another. Each time we said no thank you. The fourth time he just brought two new glasses and refilled our glasses with out a word. We both chuckeled at the arrogance. I realize turning drinks and making money for the boss is proper business pursuit. But a $48 tab for a quick glass of wine after work. This is Lake Oswego not NewYork or even Portland which I could have handled. The wine sucked the bartender sucked. I will take my first date somewhere else, and I recommend you do the same. BEWARE OF TOO TUCCI OF A BARTENDER

"Happy Hour" is really, really an extremely SAD hour! We had the pleasure of being invited to the pre-opening dinner so one could say we have been long time customers. We enjoyed have happy hour hors d'ouevres and cocktails while chatting with bartenders John, Brian, Emily, Jared and Nick. (This in chronological order somewhat.) The preparations by Pascal and Roberto were melt in your mouth - the lobster risotto was wonderful. Lunches were fresh and tasty. I am sorry to say we will no longer frequent Tucci after the exquisitely bad food and poor service Thursday night. Happy Hour was really very sad. Shall we start with the cocktails? We ordered well - I a vodka tonic, my husband a bourbon with a soda splash. $6 each - and the well is Monoplova and Early Times respectively. The beverages were served in 6 ounce rocks glasses. The liquors cost $9.95 to $14.95 a fifth depending on sales prices for a fifth. The math is simple. (I worked in a liquor store for over five years and I know the prices.) When they first opened the well vodka was Stoli - what an unfortunate change from then. And should you decide to order a $12 martini for inferior brands of gin (or vodka) at least the gorgonzola olives are good. You can make them at home for a ton less money. And, the drinks were really weak. Let us move on to the hors d'oevures. We ordered calamari, crab bruschetta, steak skewers and the margarheti pizza. Calamari - very soggy, needed at least another minute in the fryer, mostly icky tentacles, very few yummy rings. All soggy. Crab bruschetta - no seasoning whatsoever. This used to be my favourite but now is nothing to even mention. Steak skewers - old, mushy meat. No seasoning, the sauce was without any flavor. The red onions were so strong they made eyes water and mouths on fire. The last two dishes required salt to even give them some semblance of edible. The pizza was ok ... but I do believe our pizza was delivered to the wrong table as we waited at least 20 minutes to have ours and it usually takes about seven minutes. The service. Oh my. The place was busy and seemed under-staffed at least in the bar. There was only one bartender who was trying to fill orders like the Mad Hatter. He was working both sides of the bar as well as filling restaurant orders. I also noticed there is a "fill line" strip at the bar for wine pours. The pours looked really wimpy - maybe two ounces, barely a nice, healthy swallow to accompany a meal. All I can say is this seems to have become a rip-off where the owners are more concerned about making a profit than keeping old, loyal customers. Maybe they do not care ... oh, I guess not as the hostess was chewing her fingernails and cracking her neck at the hostess station. Ugh! My final note, we used to be greeted by the son of the owners and last night he acted as though we had never been in before. I will be going back to Riccardo's ... where they respect their customers and where they honour the Passport Card if you have one. I will miss the good old days at Tucci ... but perhaps all good things come to a close at some point ... we had a hunch the TV in the bar was not a great idea but i guess they fashion themselves an upscale sports bar now. I would also like to say I contacted Tucci via their website with these comments and I guess customers are so low on the totem pole they do not deserve a reply. C'est la vie.

We ate here on a Saturday evening before a performance of South Pacific at the Lakewood Center For the Performing Arts. There were five of us. Upon arrival I was struck with the decor of the dining area, it was open and interesting, but not really welcoming. It seemed crowded with large chairs and heavy tables. However it was a nice that we were seated at a table large enough for us. We ordered wine and some appetizers; two orders of risotto fritters (essentially balls of risotto rice breaded and deep fried) and a cheese plate. There were s risotto fritters on each order with a small sauce. The sauce is needed, because otherwise the fritters lacked any taste whatsoever. I had two and that was enough for me. The cheese plate was a joke. There were five of us and the appetizers were ordered for everyone. The cheese plate had two pieces of toast and 12 teeny tiny pieces of cheese. We had to ask for more toast, which they brought, but ultimately charged us for it. I opted for the stuffed rigatoni special. The server kept telling us about the sauces with the heirloom tomatoes. He kept talking about the fresh heirloom tomatoes. I think he referred to them at least 20 times. When our meals arrived, I was a little aghast at the quantity. The PLATES were enormous, but the serving size was small. The presentation helped to make the portion look even smaller than it was. I wish dining establishments would stop using dinner plates so big. It seems the more expensive the place the bigger their plates are. I could have used my plate as an umbrella in yesterday's rain! As I took my first bite, I was hoping for something to melt in my mouth and justify the price of the dinner. I was disappointed. The pasta was a mix of over cooked and undercooked giving the dish an uneven palate. Oh, and those heirloom tomatoes, well I couldn't find them anywhere in my sauce because it was so pureed that there was no way to tell if there was heirloom in there or just Safeway hothouse romas. Now, I know this is Lake O and I guess I should have expected to pay three times what I would anywhere else. If you are in Lake O and want to pay too much for too little, this is the place to go. I on the other hand will probably not be back. Mangia bene.

A well put together restaurant. More upscale and very good food. First, let me say, they have the best Lemonade I have ever had. No need to get the mixed drink when the Lemonade makes you feel so good. I had the pizza and it was delicious! For dessert we had chocolate cake and it was awesome! Worth a trip and visit to Tucci.

Delicious place. So glad we stopped here for dinner. The orzo salad is still making my mouth water and the papperdelle pasta was outstanding. Why 4 instead of 5? Well the asparagus pasta was not good, so much so we didn't eat it. Other than that the food at the rest of the table was amazing and I wish I would get another bite of the orzo salad.

Was spoiled tonight by my hubby here. The food was tasty and they carried Sculpin IPA and a Ballast Point Porter that paired nicely with our meals. Their tasty bite dessert was perfect for us newbies . We will be going back!
Just went there for a lunch with a living social coupon. The ambiance is nice. They have some areas with nice cushioned loveseats. Stylish and up to date yet not over the top and pretentious. The service was ok. They didn't tell us the specials, we had to ask ourselves what the soup of the day and the pizza of the day was. The food was also just ok. It's lunch and all but the portions were pretty small. I didn't mind but my wife thought things were a bit salty. It was edible but just didn't have the delicate touches I would expect from a restaurant in their price range. Also seemed to try to be sophisticated but tasted simple (not in a good way.)

When Tucci opened, I gave them a bad review, because they tried to create a demand by being conceded. They said, " oh, I see you were able to get a seat, "congratulations"! Are you f'n kidding me. At any rate, they "calmed that down". The food is good. And please don't "hate" about price when you go to a nice restaurant, it kills me. Go out, prepare to pay, but expect greatness. However, I don't appreciate a lot of Italian wines, I am a California Cab girl, so I don't appreciate the wines so I bring my own. Love the Pappardelle, the pizzas and the Scallops, the other entrees I have not been impressed with, in fact they were inedible....really, bought them to go for my adult kids and threw them away, because I agreed it was not ok. I guess, end of day, keep it simple here, the girl chef they have now sucks, Robert was awesome. Have soup, salad, pizza, and papeperdelle. Get the wine across the street.

I always get the risotto balls - we call them "balls". Not always consistent; however I will always order them - probably so I can just say "I want balls". Pastas are really good, as are any of their fish dishes. Haven't had a bad one yet. I've eaten mostly at the bar, and the bartender(s) are always friendly - though seemingly overworked...one dude for the whole bar AND restaurant? Hey, stop filling that order from the restaurant and give me more wine! Hmph. If you can't get seating in the restaurant, I recommend sitting in the bar. Belly up - they will take care of you, and will serve you the full menu. Wine list is really good, and well, of course there's some very nice Italian reds to be had.

Ordered lunch: the funghi sandwich on focaccia with minestrone for the side. The sandwich was good. I don't think they make their own minestrone--it tasted like it was out of a can. One friend ordered the pesto chicken sandwich which looked pretty good, but it came with fries -- seemed like an odd side for an italian restaurant. Another at my table ordered a pasta dish. It was a first time visit for everyone at the table, & no one said a word about the food. For me, it was pretty average. Overall, I felt like I was at a chain restaurant. You can't just throw pasta in an over sized bowl & decide you suddenly have an "Italian" restaurant.

Don't waste your time. Food is way over priced for what you get. You'd be better off spending your money at Bugerville or McDonald's.

My mother and I stopped by Tucci this week for lunch because we wanted to explore some of the restaurants out in Lake Oswego. I called about an hour before we planned on meeting to reserve a table for lunch (lately I've noticed lunch reservations aren't too common during the work week) and the friendly person on the phone took my information and let me know they'd have a table set aside. We were greeted and seated as soon as we stepped inside Tucci. The staff was pleasant and gave us ample time to look over the menu. I ordered the Panini Trio that consisted of a small salad, soup, and smaller version of their daily panino. This was the perfect sized lunch for me. I should've snapped a picture, but I was so hungry the thought never crossed my mind. The small panino was constructed and grilled perfectly. The innards weren't falling out with each bite and there wasn't any oil running from the sandwich that could stain your clothes. The salad and soup were of the typical italian restaurant variety. Nothing to write home (or on Yelp!) about. I want to return for dinner and a happy hour. My guess is that's when Tucci is most busy as there were only two other small parties at lunch. The dinner menu is much more fleshed out with meal options, as is the happy hour menu. If you're out and about in Lake Oswego, take a chance on Tucci!

Have to say it wasn't bad at all. Friendly and attentive staff and very nice ambiance and decor. We had a very nice evening, good food, all in all a solid performance and the best part of all, not a bit of over cooked pasta drowning in ragu sauce with 3 inches of broiled cheese blend on top to disguise sub standard kitchen skills like so many other "Italian" restaurants. We had scallops, mussels, and a fillet of steak served with excellent freshly cut - made in house - french fries. I would recommend Tucci and I would go there again.

My husband and I visited Tucci's because we received a gift card. Otherwise, I'm not sure we would have made this place our date night. The ambiance was certainly nice, and unlike the other posters, we found our wait staff to be acceptable. My main issue was the price vs quality of the food. Not to say that I didn't enjoy my smoked salmon pasta, but for the ridiculous price, and small amount, I certainly would have been miffed to pay my own money for it. The food was average, the prices high. I will say, the Tiramisu was delicious, and worth anything you would pay for it.

Wow dinner was delish. We come often for happy hour the best in Lake Oswego. Had dinner in the darling dining room. Scallops perfect. The ceasar the lamb ragu. Oh I cannot rave enough. Yummy.

I don't have enough good things to say about Tucci. The inside is amazing. Perfect. It's so classy and yet I feel comfortable in jeans there. The hosts are always so on point and they represent the restaurant with class and flare. The food and drinks are delicious. And happy hour is a great treat! The menu is just full of deliciousness. And don't even get me started on their Tiramisu. I just love this place!

Sadly, I was unimpressed. For the price, I expected a much different experience. The food was good, but nowhere near great. The fish stew was middle of the road and my sister in law ordered a rare steak that came cooked medium to medium-well. They did hit the nail on the head regarding ambiance, but it is not enough to bring me back.

We were excited to try out a new place and saw Tucci had great reviews so we gave it a try. We started off with cocktails which were great! Unfortunatly, our dinner wasn't...my pork came out not cooked! I asked the server if it was supposed to be pink in the middle (looked like a rare steak) and he looked shocked and took it away. It took about 30 minutes for them to re cook it - yes, RE cook. They brought back my same pork. I could tell becuase I had cut half of it up before realizing it was not fully cooked. While I sat and waited for my meal to come back out, my husband had his. The waiter never offered me anything - but he did comp our $8 dessert. We were dissapointed in the service. Big bummer because this places has a great atmosphere.

Start with a moderately-priced, listed well drink or wine of the day, follow with the pizza margherita (most filling HH item) and a salad / second plate, then finish with an Italian dessert. Ideal amount of food at happy hour prices in an upscale environment. The staff went out of their way to comfortably accommodate our group of seven in the lounge. Another win for LO.

My partner and I had dinner at Tucci's last night for the first time. The food was great. The bread served was very tasty. My chicken Marsala was really good and the pork chop was good as well. The only reasons for not giving five stars: the price on iced tea us $3.50 which I think is ridiculous; when I called to get in at 5:30 the host was a bit pretentious on the phone saying that he could get me in because they just had a cancellation. When we arrived we were maybe one of four tables seated. The place was wide open. Other than that we thought the food and service were great.

We really enjoyed it. Can't understand the negatives?! Do they dine at the Ritz? Our foursome did three courses each, shared, commented on each course. And we were pleased. Ambiance was warm, everyone was welcoming, drinks and food were good. What the hell more do you want in a restaurant? I'm signing my name to this. Elizabeth Sullivan

This is the first time I went there with my friends and really liked it. The ambiance was nice, warm & inviting. We could see them cook the food and the food smell is appetizing. LOVE the fritters (you shud try it) and the sauce that came with it. Just perfect !! We tried polento, panini & salad - and everyone seems to like the food they ordered. Finally we tried the chocolate polento and that was nice too (though too chocolatey for me). Overall, great place - bit pricey but good quality. Go for it !!

After a bit of a mishap on our reservation for 15 for our annual Christmas party we walked into Tucci's Restaurant with no real hope that they might be able to help us with our very last minute request. Much to our surprise the manager indicated he could in fact take our party and led us back to a beautiful private room we were not even aware was there... and it just kept getting better after that. The waiter was impeccable, asking us every time before opening another bottle of wine, being available to us anytime we needed him and staying in the background when we didn't. The food was great as was the advice from the waiter on what to order. For perfect ambiance, excellent food, and great customer service we are so grateful that our original reservation did not work out and we ended up at a fabulous restaurant such as Tucci's in Lake Oswego.

We arrived without reservations on a Saturday night and we were promptly seated in one of the few remaining tables; however, I'd recommend reservations and I will attend to that detail on subsequent visits. The seafood on the menu was temptingly described, and our server was helpful in providing additional insights on menu items. I ordered and enjoyed ravioli. My wife ordered the chicken marinated in balsamic vinegar with Yukon potatoes and mushrooms with sauteed kale. The chicken was deliciously prepared, and there was no intrusive, residual taste of the vinegar. My ravioli was delightfully prepared. The food was tasty and well presented. Service was professional and attentive. We enjoyed our dining experience and the atmosphere at Tucci's, and we look forward to our next visit. I certainly recommend Tucci's to others.

I'm new to Yelp, but not new to the restaurant scene in Lake Oswego. I've been going to Tucci since they opened. I've seen them go through remodels and a few staff changes over 10+ years. Through it all, they have been very consistent and been a great place to take clients and friends. Greg is a top notch Maitre D...Danny and Nicholas are awesome too. All of their people are personable, professional and well seasoned. When Cioppino was on the menu....it was the best I've had. The grilled panini's are excellent too. Their happy hour is still one of best in the area. It was there that i tried my first "Dark and Stormy".....which is now my drink of choice. :) The interior is beautiful and I love to watch the cooks prepare their dishes at the back counter. The also have a wood-fired brick oven for making Pizza. YUM! I'd recommend the crab bruchetta and the skewers. (happy hour menu) Due to the recession, I haven't been able to go to Tucci as much as I'd like.....but when I do, I'm never disappointed. They will take care of you!

Tucci's is set in a small row of buildings in the heart of Lake Oswego, right across from Safeway. The atmosphere is somewhat Tuscan, the mood intimate with lots of candles and low lighting. We went to celebrate a birthday and even though there were only four of us were sat in a separate, more private, dining room in front of a large fireplace. Our waiter was very informative of the menu and the lengthy list of specials. We were well cared for throughout the evening. They have a generous wine list which offers some local wines but lacks on glass pours. I decided on a glass of Barbera to go with one of their signature dishes, the Pappardelle Agnello. This dish has a bed of fresh pasta and a house made lamb ragu with mushrooms. The rich ragu had succulent braised lamb and the pasta cooked al dente. It was very flavorful and left just enough juice to use my remaining bread as a sponge. Without asking they brought us a complimentary dessert with lit candle for our celebration, which was a nice gesture. Overall I enjoyed our meal but did feel the zip code added to the cost of the bill. It was unfortunate my stomach didn't completely agree afterward, which I could have ignored except someone else ordered the same dish and had similar results. I would like to give Tucci another try but there are so many other choices in Portland that don't include unexpected trips to the bathroom.

Olive Garden Meets Lake Oswego * Risotto balls are good with a crisp crust and generic tasting inside. They still seeming to be missing the vegetables mentioned on the menu. * Calimari was thinly battered and paired with two anemic aolis * Cocktails and wine choices are terrific * Beet salad had rancid pecans * Pear salad was delightful * It's impossible to drink more than two sips out of your glass before it's refilled-we tried! The water service was adamant while the rest was well metered and friendly (also very respectful of our need to eat quickly to attend a play) *The booths in the lounge are nearly impossible but mostly awkward to squeeze into even for slighter frames There were a few entrees that sounded good. Due to time constraints we just had appetizers and drinks, but from a general impression it would seem that an entree might be a mixed bag as well. Tucci - was nice enough for one visit, but probably wouldn't garner my attention a second time.

Overall, I thought that the food was way overpriced for what it was...an opinion which I could have overcame if the service hadn't been terrible as well. My husband ordered the rigatoni and I had the ravioli and we both thought they were fine. My sauce was a bit oily, but even that was okay. I was a little annoyed when a couple who came in after us was told a whole array of specials which we were not informed of. I was further annoyed when our waiter took our plates then disappeared for over 20 minutes before bringing us our bill. I don't think I will be heading back any time soon.

Good overall experience! Excellent location and parking (try anywhere on the street, or in back via the parking areas). The young chap who greeted us was friendly and helpful...our initial seating needed to be changed to a less busy location...not a drama, except the attitude of the GM(?) was off-putting...kind of a stuck-up approach to interacting with the customer...other than this, service was good. The food is very well prepared...serving sizes are generous...prices are too high...maybe $3-$4 per dish. For our weekday evening visit there were plenty of patrons...so, maybe LO residents don't worry about the inflated prices?!*smile* Standout appetizer: grilled octopus...give the rice-balls a miss (too dense and tasteless)...chicken masala, salmon, various pastas were all very good. Treat yourself to a dessert...worth the calories! Don't forget to check-in on yelp for a $2 discount on one dessert.

Bacchus Wine Nights and fine Italian dining in the heart of Lake Oswego. Last night I went here for the first time to enjoy dinner for eight and four others joined us for dessert and drinks. It was a fantastic night and although it was my first time in the restaurant, I will definitely be back. I love dining with a large group because then you get to sample a little bit of everything. Antipasti dishes: **Cozze al Vapore--a large plate of steamed mussels in a roasted tomato sauce with Pinot Grigio and grilled Ciabatta **Calamari Fritti--a basket of lightly fried calamari with tomato and lemon aioli dipping sauces on the side **Mozzarella in Carrozza--fried mozzarella and tomato with arugula pesto and a balsamic reduction served in a tower. All three were delicious and I went back for seconds of the calamari and mussels. Everyone in our party skipped the soups and salad and went right into the main course. Secondi: **Sea Bass di Chile--pan seared with a thin layer of prosciutto, asparagus, olive oil whipped potatoes and a light pesto. I had this and actually meant to ask for a substitution of seasonal veggies for the asparagus (since I am not usually a fan due to flashbacks of how it was cooked beyond recognition in my childhood), but this was delicious. I think it is a sign of a great dining experience when you add a food that previously you avoided to your "I'll have that" list. **Filetto Arrosto--pan roasted filet atop a Tuscan potato cake with seasonal veggies and a port reduction. Four in my party had this and raved about it. It was beautifully plated. **Cappi Santi al Finocchio--seared sea scallops with faro and arugula. The woman next to me had this (she had ordered it on a previous visit as well) and raved about it. Her father was a fisherman, so I think she has a higher standard then average for the quality of the dish. And to finish off this decadent meal... Dessert/Wine: **Tiramisu Classico--I chose this and it was beautifully presented with swirls of chocolate on a simple white plate, but it wasn't the best I've ever had. Next time, I'll have the.... **Torta Calda del Polenta Ciocolato--warm chocolate polenta cake with fudge and caramel sauce, a honey tuile and gelato. I tasted this and it was out of this world. A really interesting texture and version of a molten chocolate lava cake. **Trio di Gelato--how you can go wrong with three flavors of their house-made ice cream and biscotti? **Selection of digestivos--limoncello and orangecello We had wonderful service throughout and our group was relatively demanding. Most of us were sampling white and red wine, had cocktails, and asked a ton of questions. The waiter had worked in the restaurant as a wine steward for two years, so he had complete command of both the food and wine lists. He recommended some wonderful red and white wines to accompany the meal. I had a raspberry lemon drop cocktail to start, but I wouldn't recommend it in particular. Others enjoyed the house martinis. The decor is lush Italian with lots of golds, ambers and reds. Very interesting light fixtures and you eat on carved wood tables and the chairs were very comfortable. Even the fixtures in the unisex bathrooms were out of the ordinary. The kitchen is open to the dining room and at first it was a little disconcerting to have the chefs about six feet away from our table, but I loved looking at the fire brick oven. They have a few stools at the kitchen counter and I saw a mother and her children eating pizza and watching the chefs work. That would be really cool for the little ones. This place is both restaurant and wine bar and they advertised all wine bottles (red, white, or sparkling) at 20% off the menu price throughout the entire restaurant - bar and dining room on Monday evenings. The evening hours vary, but most of the week they offer a late night happy hour after 9:00p. The Lido Bar is a cool area and they had a baby grand piano, so they offer live music on occasion. There is a patio for outdoor seating in the summertime. This was a spendy restaurant and would fall in my special occasion category. It has a great wine list, so I think my next trip might be for some wine tasting and a light meal. Our party closed out the restaurant around 10:30p and I see from the website, they are only open until 9:00p on Monday, so it was gracious of them to stay open as long as they did.

Generally, Tucci is a solid choice in the Lake O area. We have been several times and only had one less than fantastic experience. My advice? Skip the burgers. Our party of four was craving burgers so we all ordered them. Not the best idea. Stick to what Tucci does best-truly fantastic pasta, meats, and fish. Our recent favorites are the vegetable lasagna and seafood paella. Patio seating is lovely just try to get one of the tabes off of the main road or it may prove to be a bit loud. Inside seating is very nice as well. Service has always been friendly and attentive.

Always a treat to come here; a happy, friendly atmosphere, great wine selection and awesome fare help make this a fave for authentic Italian when in LO. (the seared scallops are not to be passed up!)

I went years ago and was disappointed because the fettucini had jalepeno in it that was never mentioned in the description, but decided to try it again. Glad I did! Really nice happy hour with some interesting choices and not just the standard HH grub. Wait staff was accomodating and helpfu. Now I'm excited to go back for dinner one night soon!

I'm surprised that Yelp says "Good for Kids: NO". No, Tucci does not boast a children's menu, but when you look at your waiter and say "Hey, do you think you can make something simple and fabulous for the little blondie right there?" And the waiter says looks at your child and says "Miss, what would you like the chef to make for you?", I would say that I'm happy to take my (very well behaved) children to this neighborhood gem. With that said, out came the most beautiful, crispy grilled cheese dinner and sides, that I was tempted to reach over and snatch a bite. If you have little ones under 5, it's iffy, but if you have well taught "restaurant" children, it's great place for their budding palates. Working in the Pearl district, close to a plethora of great restaurants, I rate Tucci an overall good Trattoria in the Portland/Lake O area that beats out some popular NW Portland restaurants. The food is excellent, the service is good, and it boasts a small feel in a large space. It's not cheap (pricing between $19-$30 a plate), but one of the things I noticed in my last dining experience with 6 people...there were NO left overs, and everyone had to have a bite of what the other had ordered.

Found the restaurant on open table, decided to give it a try for a special occasion. Made a reservation on line. Showed up on time, they seated us initially near the open kitchen about 10 feet from the wood fired oven which was really hot. I was not clear why they seated us there when the restaurant was pretty empty inside and it was almost 90 degrees today so the patio was full. The host agreed to re-seat us which was much more comfortable across the room from the oven. Tucci is billed as an Italian restaurant but most of their really enticing dishes were more American or Continental. Just a brief commentary. If they wanted to have more of an Italian flare, perhaps adding two or three more pasta dishes such as some sort of a seasonal ingredient lasagna or cannelloni to keep things gourmet. Initially the service was really slow but once we got going, it got better and a little more attentive. I was a little disappointed by the rather weak cocktails as was my wife. We wound up switching to a very nice Chianti. The complimentary appetizer of buffalo mozzarella and heirloom tomatoes was great. You could really taste how fresh the ingredients were. The salads that we had for our first course were good, not overwhelmingly good. I had the Cesar which was decent but not quite garlicky enough for my palate. My wife had their house salad and she said it was quite good. We ordered a New York steak and pan roasted Halibut for our entrees. The steak was perfect as was the Halibut. However, the halibut fillet was very skimpy, considering that the entree was 25 dollars. I would estimate that it was maybe 4 ounces or so. That would be my only critical observation on things that the restaurant could control. Dessert was quite good. Another Yelper recommended the chocolate polenta cake and it was really good. We shared it and thought that this place would be worth returning to at some point in the future. As far as uncontrollable things were concerned, there was a really cute baby wearing an Oregon outfit, that was annoying and at least he was cute. One cannot help who ones parents are.

GREAT place - especially for happy hour. Food was fresh, just the right temperature, and the selection was intriguing. Our bartender was extremely personable, stopping by to check on us regularly without being a pest, was genuinely nice to talk with, and provided great recommendations. We enjoyed a variety of appetizers instead of ordering entrees and LOVED the Risotto fritters. We've been back once since then, had the same extremely positive experience, and look forward to going regularly!

Preface: Tucci is falling victim to a pet peeve of mine: out of date advertising, details to follow. I probably would lean more towards 4*s than 3 without the peeve factor. This place is date 3 central...expensive but not too expensive, mood lighting, somewhat dressy (though you could easily wear jeans). Surprisingly, the outside is nondescript - I walked right past it and had to double back. Not a knock on the place, necessarily, it's just understated. Service was excellent, water glass always full, old plates promptly removed, deep knowledge of the menu, polite and available without hover. There was one exception to this, but more on that with the food... Speaking of! We had : Insalata di Asparagi Insaata di Spinachi The Asparagus was salad was decent. The Spinach salad was supposed to be "crispy" pancetta, but was otherwise nice Arancini: Risotto fritters. Two problems here. The first is that this dish was ordered as an appetiser, but in the one counter example to the excellent service, it was forgotten until after the main meal arrived. the second is that there was supposed to be all kinds of veggies in the fritter, and none were apparent in either the flavor or the look Rigatoni con Prosciutto - Wonderful. Pasta was cooked well, and I had asked for a little extra cream to create a 'pink sauce" like experience, and that's how it came. Pappardelle al Ragu di Agnello: lamb. I've never had lamb so creamy before, while preserving the flavor of the meat. Don't expect a leg of lamb as the dish description implies. Still well worth ordering. Details on the bad advertising: I have tried to go to Tucci twice now, and both times have been mislead by fliers claiming they were open, when in fact, they were not. I can't tell you how annoying it is when you drive out of your way to check it out a place for lunch...and it is closed. My other pet peeve: There is a wonderful Prix Fixe menu, 4 courses, that is very very reasonable ($26, I believe). If you don't select this, you are in for a much larger bill. Think $65 vs $100. And as you get into the $100 range, (my) expectations go WAY up.

I'm typically not a big reviewer, but after a third bad experience at Tucci I can't resist. I really want to like this place since I love Italian food and LO has such a shortage of good restaurants. After meeting a friend for a glass wine, my wife joined us for dinner. The service was fine, if a bit slow, but it was the entrees that were dreadful. The scallops were cooked beyond recognition, and my pork dish was also completely over cooked, at least half of it was burnt. When I pointed this out to our server he took our plates away to the kitchen to discuss with the chef. When he failed to return after 20 minutes I sought him out to ask what the kitchen had to say, he said "it was really difficult to communicate with the kitchen staff".......huh??? He never bothered to bring us either our burnt meals back, or a replacement. After $50 on a couple of entrees I expected a different response and at least a full meal given the local word of mouth. After the third time being disappointed, we'll never go back.

A type of place I have seen many times in my day....which is gooooood. But nothing that is going to blow your pants off. Their dungeonous crab bruschetta was yummy, so was their garlic roasted prawns. But I got scallops atop some farro, which was okay, it just could have been jazzed up a lil bit. The scallops were also quite over-salted, enough that I had a little nugget of one left over when I was finished.......something that should not happen to a scallop, that needs to be in my mouth. Dessert was slightly lame. I got a cheesecake because I wasn't paying and I love cheesecake. But it was dry! I wanted moist and creamy cake love! I would go back though, they have sexy staff, okay food, a nice selection of beer, and definitely nice ambiance.

Food has always been pretty good, although on the expensive side for what you get. The one thing that bothered me as a younger diner, is I was treated like crap for no reason. They try so hard to create such a fine dining experience, and be so fancy, that they are almost rude. Overall, food and ambiance good, service - awful.

I went here with my parents over the holidays when it snowed in Lake Oswego. There were very few people there and the service was wonderful. I recommend the scallops, delicious and filling. My boyfriend tried the quail and while it was great the portion was a little small, but that would be my only compliant. The wine list is nice as well as the assortment of cocktails.

Ever so hesitant to provide 4 stars instead of 3. In the spirit of the olympics, let's give it 3.5. Tucci is like a passionate relationship (like the kind you have in your 20s): love 'em and hate 'em at the same time. So let me start with the o'so positive: 1. cuisine (when it's done right) is amazing, flavors are reminiscent of European 4 star dining. The creative sauces chef prepares are seriously to die for.... 2. happening place: decor and design 3. wine list (italian, regional) Now on to why they are 3.5 stars: 1. inconsistency (have been to Tucci more than a dozen times and we either get great service or service that doesn't give a damn served with a side of bad attitude.) 2. food can also be inconsistent (still very tasty, but under or over cooked and a few times served "cold"). 3. wine served too freaking warm. and when I request an ice bucket for my red wine (which should be served at approx 65 degrees/cellar temp) I don't want attitude. 75 degrees for a 2001 Brunello is like drinking cold coffee. It's against the grain!! So, bring me the bucket and make your annoyed faces in the back of the establishment. 4. over priced (especially the wines 300-400% mark-up from retail) food is priced about right because it's awesome (WHEN IT's prepared properly)! *So, after dining at Tucci, we loved it and hated it, depending upon the evening. Which makes me think after all the years they've been around that it's poorly managed. Master chef and owner should continue to create cuisine that sends your mind and senses to a higher level. But hire a management consultant to over see the sloppy service, inconsistencies and PLEASE put some of that money into a wine cooling system and if your patrons still want ice...let them have it, with a smile!

fairly good food, but really quite expensive for a neighborhood eatery (even in tony Lake Oswego) I had the Crab Spaghettini which was good, but not $22 good. It was maybe...$15 good Quiet and cute ambience

I debated on two or three stars and opted for two overall. We have only been here once and that was primarily for their happy hour. We sat in the bar, not the dining area. They do have an adequate $5 happy hour food menu, although plate sizes are very small. We had the Pasta del Giorno and the Prosciutto Plate. Both good, but not beyond just "good." We also had the Risotto Fritters off of the regular, not happy hour, menu and they were excellent. One cocktail and one glass of wine. The wine was excellent but their by the glass prices are very high. The food menu looked nice but a bit limited and, WOW, pretty expensive. Nothing on the food or wine menu for the budget minded. Yes, it's Lake Oswego so that increases dining prices right there. The atmosphere and decor were nice. The server, Chad H., was fine but when he realized we were just there for small eats, he seemed pretty put out. Guess he was hoping for that big tip on a full meal. Pretty unimpressed with that attitude. We were sitting at a bar booth, separated by a glass partition from the main dining room and there was a squalling baby in the booth on the other side of the glass. Not very pleasant. Total tab with tip: $47.50. That's 3 appetizers and 2 drinks and for average food. Probably won't go back again. There are other options for fantastic Italian food, great atmosphere, with more affordability in the Portland area.

Walking into the restaurant I was immersed in the feeling of stepping into a villa in the Mediteranean. The ochre colored walls, black wrought iron, the rustic looking tables and huge unusual light fixture were a feast for the eyes. My friend and I were seated quickly (we had called ahead for reservations) and were given food menues, a wine menu, and a cocktail menu. That was my only complaint for the evening. We had these four large menues and not enough room on the table for all of them. We started off with martinis - I had the key lime and it was absolute perfection. Neither of us were extremely hungry so we ordered salads and my friend also ordered the squash soup. We were entertained by what I can only assume was live guitar music. It was nice and just the right volume to be background music. While waiting for our salads, we munched on the wonderful rustic bread the waiter had placed on our table earlier. The olive oil and pepper/salt containers were really cute little rustic looking ceramic vessels with a small wooden spoon used to sprinkle the pepper and salt. The only thing missing was a little parmesan. Our salads and soup arrived and I just want to express how fabulous the Ahi tuna salad was. The tuna virtually melted in my mouth while the vegetables and greens were artfully arranged on the plate. My mouth virtually sang in satisfaction once they arrived on my tastebuds. My friend raved about the soup as well. This was definitely the kind of place to come for a special occasion. The dining experience was fabulous and the food was amazing. The prices were a bit out of my normal range so I can't see myself frequenting the place. But I will remember it the next time I'm celebrating a special occasion.

This place was pretty terrible, and has ended my foray into Lake Oswego dining. I will go to Portland to eat out. I got a caesar salad, which tasted like it had been dressed in yellow mustard. The chef kindly left the stalks of romaine whole, so that I could cut my own salad to my liking. He left the cheese and croutons to the side, and I'm sure that's quite artsy on some level, but really, in this construction, or lack thereof, he only spared me the trouble of going to the grocery store. And charged me a good deal for it. I tried it. I didn't like it. I notified my server. My server said "what a shame" and walked away. Server 101: if a patron dislikes a dish, remove it immediately from the table, if not the bill. This server did neither. Unacceptable. I will not be returning. Further, I watched the chef making a pizza, and he sprinkled - no joke -a fistful of salt onto the hot cheese topping it. It must have tasted awful. Also, small scale nuisance: the tables appear really cluttered. The junk they put on there takes up the whole tabletop. I actually thought all the tables were dirtied by customers and left that way when I first walked in.

Jan 28th. We waited 30 minutes for our food that was cold, poor quality, and overpriced. The waiter was great, the problem was the chef and the kitchen. This place used to be a favorite but no longer. Riccardos is a much better choice. We'll be back when the chef goes back to McDonalds.

I am new to Lake Oswego, but Tucci gets five stars. Impeccable service and amazing food. I recommend sitting at the bar as Wes and Brian are awesome bartenders. The menu is a little bit pricey, but stop in for Happy Hour and it's a perfect bite!

Best dining experience in a very long time. We had not been to Tucci's in several years and decided to celebrate my husband's birthday by having dinner with another couple. From start to finish it was an exceptional experience. We had 3 appetizers (Risotto Fritters, Calamari and the Prosciutto di Parma) and all were delicious. Three of us had the featured cocktail of the evening and it yummy! We had salads and then two of us had the Flat Iron steak special; one had the Sea Scallops and the other the Fettuccine Salmon dish. FANTASTIC. Melt in your mouth food with exploding flavors. Wine with dinner and then desserts - 2 had mousse, one had the special almond cake and the other had the custard (exact name escapes me). After dinner drinks followed with dessert. We ended up being at Tucci's for 4 hours and experienced a wonderful evening. Our waiter, Wes, was charming, helpful and attended to our every need. Overall service was outstanding. If you haven't figure it out yet, I give Tucci the TOP rating (this is actually my first review on yelp) and can't wait to go back again....why had we waited so long?

Gorgeous restaurant and makes for great people watching. Ultra comfortable, welcoming and most important, excellent food. Everyone raves about the prices at happy hour, but we've done it so many times, now we just go for meals, especially to introduce friends to the restaurant. Congrats to Greg for having such an excellent staff, bartenders and chefs performing their magic in a beautiful open kitchen. There's also a patio that's hopping in good weather. The risotto and pizza are the best. Come to think of it, so is the beef and fish. Lengthy and unpretentious wine list, a super delicious infused cocktail list and the return of the former pastry chef, makes for a great evening.

Great food, awesome Italian wines and excellent service! What else you want?? The only challenge is, if you are a vegetarian (like me), your choice is very limited. Still it is worth going for the wine!! If you are looking for a formal business dinner then you should consider this restaurant.

Most of my restaurant meals tend to be downtown PDX. Tucci's is a regular of mine for personal fine dining. It is pricey but they deliver the goods consistently and I have never been disappointed. To call the offerings Italian food those is a disservice to the menu and misleading to the uninitiated. I often eat the fish which is uncompromisingly cooked and attractively presented unlike many NW Portland eateries that claim to be "seafood" specialists. Tucci's halibut is as good as it gets. The warm spinach salad and crab bruschetta are ideal accompaniments. The service has been consistently good and helpful without being overbearing. Enjoy. My only reservation (four stars vs. five stars) is price/value as it is close to the top in extracting bucks per item.

We visited Tucci this past weekend with another couple and found this restaurant to be of much lower quality than we had expected! Out of the four of us, only one received their meal warm and it was the soup! We were seated close to the "kitchen" area and we could see our food sitting under a warmer for more than 5 minutes! My fish was not edible(over cooked by 10 minutes at least), and my friends hamburger was COLD along with the french fries. We are not picky, but for an average of $25 per person which did not include any salad, rice or potatoes, this place needs to hire a different chef! The main problem stems from one sentence(and attitude) on the menu...we do not make any changes to the way our food is prepared and will NOT substitute anything for any reason! Many people have allergies (like me, no wheat), do not eat pork (bacon is in many items) or do not like a specific herb. I feel this restaurant only stays open because there is not much else found in the area! We live in the area, but will not be back and you should think again before you go!! I would like to say our waitress was wonderful and I truly wish the food was at least decent, so we could have her again!

I love the open kitchen concept and the warmness of the dining-room atmosphere. Their Pan Steamed Mussels were so good that I could eat a couple more pounds of it! My co-workers fought for the few pieces of the forcacia breads because they were so delicious! Next time when I crave for mussels Tucci will be the place!

Consistently good food, good service, and a fantastic happy hour. Not a stand out restaurant but we visit often because it has a great atmosphere and its reliable. Updated to four stars because we continually come back here for happy hour, drinks, or sometimes just for dessert. I have decided that it is above average. We have yet to eat a full dinner here

I've been dining at Tucci's for years. The dining room and bar have a wonderful, spacious feeling. I especially appreciate the more private dining areas for large groups. The cuisine never disappoints! It is presented beautifully and always tastes so fresh with a wonderful marriage of flavors that dazzle the palate.

GO, just for the cups they serve coffee in! :) Their appetizer specialities are also fantastic! Waitstaff superb, even when I brought in a crowd of friends at the bar. And, such a nice bar with fireplace and all. I love going to Tucci for a special night out with my sweetie, we always feel SO taken care of! Bravo! See you again soon! jem

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

(5)Chris B.
(5)Amanda W.

(1)Jess B.

I love going to Tucci's! The food is great and the service is awesome. It never fails to be a wonderful dining out experience.

Had lunch with a friend and totally loved it. The chicken salad on butter lettuce was awesome and the calamari was amazing! I will go back again...thanks for a great meal Tucci!!

Italian menu but not the typical. Food is excellent. Knowledgeable staff. Good wine list.

(4)Sara B.
(4)Matthew D.
Warm atmosphere, friendly service, & AMAZING food! I love eating here. Everything I've ever had is fantastic. The servers are great and the owner's son Gregg makes you feel at home. I'll definitely be back again and again.
(5)Kathleen F.
Was spoiled tonight by my hubby here. The food was tasty and they carried Sculpin IPA and a Ballast Point Porter that paired nicely with our meals. Their tasty bite dessert was perfect for us newbies . We will be going back!

We had avoided them after the previous experiences, but some friends gave us a Tucci gift certificate, so last week we finally decided to try it again. What a different experience! We sat outside on their lovely side patio (& were able to have our dog with us - bonus!). Our server was awesome - friendly, knowledgable, etc. We both had the halibut. It was perfectly cooked - tender, easily fell into wonderful bite-sized pieces. Sides were well chosen & presented. The veggies were sautéed, but not with lots of oil; tasted healthful and flavorful. The fish was a bit too salty (seemed like maybe chef ground rock salt over the top, but didn't realize how much was coming out), but we mixed it with the veggies & it balanced out. The 4 stars are for the oversalting, but we plan to visit again soon & will upgrade if they keep the improvements up. The server did say that there is a new chef (well, new to us, as he has been there nearly a year) - which could explain the big improvements.

(4)Portland S.

(4)Chris J.
(4)Julia S.
(3)Deb C.
Wow dinner was delish. We come often for happy hour the best in Lake Oswego. Had dinner in the darling dining room. Scallops perfect. The ceasar the lamb ragu. Oh I cannot rave enough. Yummy.
(5)Jael J.

Had a very nice evening here. The service was very friendly and prompt and the food was excellent. I will eat here again. And it is dog friendly!!!!
(5)Crystal T.
(3)Michelle B.

"My wife and I enjoyed a very excellent Dinner at Tucci's..The Service was great, The Restaurant was very clean, The Decor is relaxing...And the meal was perfect...I would highly recommend this establishment for a high quality dining experience."
(5)Kevin M.
(5)Sherlock H.
(4)Elizabeth S.

(5)Don S.
Pretty good food ...very good service...extremely expensive for what you get! The drinks were really up there but decent. Almost went with three star because of prices, but on the company.

(5)Ed P.
(4)Gregg C.
(5)Dan P.
(3)Ellen E.
The food & service are so-so. The drinks are the best part of the menu.

(3)Marnie S.

Everything about this place wreaks of awesomeness! You need to come in and try it for yourself. Don't take mine or others words for it!
(5)Captain B.

Awesome food, great service and wonderful atmosphere.

Absolutly fantastic. The best place I've been to in LO.
(5)B R.
Not quite real Italian, food quality and preparation is good though. Burger bun is a bit dry...
(3)Jocelyn L.
fairly good food, but really quite expensive for a neighborhood eatery (even in tony Lake Oswego) I had the Crab Spaghettini which was good, but not $22 good. It was maybe...$15 good Quiet and cute ambience
(3)Cait S.
Love this place. Great atmosphere. Love the dungeness crab bruschetta appetizer!!

Was better than I expected, great service and food. Cool atmosphere. Bar tender was excellent, very knowledgable on Oregon wines...we had the special (seafood pasta cooked or fried pasta)....liked it

I checked out several places in the Portland metro area for a special first date and decided on Tucci. I was not disappointed. This place is awesome! Great food, great service, great ambiance.I couldn't ask for more. If you want to impress your date - this is the place.

I love Tucci's. I had their goat cheese and artichoke pizza. It was so good.
(5)Adam H.
Beautiful atmosphere, magnificent wines, great food and dessert. Tip: all afternoon and evening happy hour on Monday is ny favorite. Also Thursdays an Fridays they have a great piano bar. I went there one night and the guy was playing rachmaninov! Incredible.

Food is great and authentic, great italian regional wine selection-- pretty pricey and not a great wait staff tho. Cool open kitchen.
(4)Emily D.
I recommend their happy hour - lots of yummy options and none of the typical greasy happy hour fare at other restaurants. Lovely atmosphere too, would be perfect for date night!
(4)David C.
Delicious, authentic Italian food with terrific plate presentation. Wine list has a wide price range with quality at all price points. Service was friendly and attentive. Our group of six totally enjoyed the night.

Great food but 4 Oregon wines on the list? Come on!!!!!!

(5)Fred E.
(4)Madras M.
Great food, awesome Italian wines and excellent service! What else you want?? The only challenge is, if you are a vegetarian (like me), your choice is very limited. Still it is worth going for the wine!! If you are looking for a formal business dinner then you should consider this restaurant.
(4)Mike A.

(2)Jan W.
(4)Barry T.
Consistently good food, good service, and a fantastic happy hour. Not a stand out restaurant but we visit often because it has a great atmosphere and its reliable. Updated to four stars because we continually come back here for happy hour, drinks, or sometimes just for dessert. I have decided that it is above average. We have yet to eat a full dinner here
(4)Karen A.
(4)Kathy B.
We stopped here on a whim, and what a great choice! The food, ambiance, and Michael our server were all a ten. Our new favorite place!
(5)Landon G.
Awesome spicy red sauce. Great service. The bar menu is great if you are looking for something lite. The main menu is wonderful.
(5)J E.
Bravo! See you again soon! jem
